Sphera Franchise Group continues the expansion of the KFC network and opened, in Popești-Leordeni, the first KFC restaurant in Romania operated under the Delivery Carry Out format. The investment, amounting to approximately 420,000 euro, marks the fourth opening completed by the Group in 2026, following the launch of KFC M Park Titan in Bucharest and the openings in Bălți (Republic of Moldova) and San Donà di Piave (Italy).
The new restaurant is dedicated exclusively to delivery and take-away orders, having been designed to meet the growing demand for fast and convenient dining solutions. The unit is optimized for operational efficiency and does not feature a traditional dine-in area, while maintaining the same product offering and the same KFC quality standards customers know and expect.
The restaurant is located in the La Strada shopping center, at 34 Amurgului Street, Popești-Leordeni, has approximately 100 square meters, and is open daily from 10:00 AM to 11:00 PM. With this opening, the KFC network in Romania has reached 112 restaurants.

At the same time, this concept gives us the flexibility to expand the brand’s presence in high-potential areas and better meet the growing demand for delivery and take-away services,”said Marian Gogu, General Manager of KFC Romania.
The restaurant is equipped with digital menu boards and modern order-processing systems. Customers can place orders directly in the restaurant, through the Click & Collect service, or via partner delivery platforms.
The new unit offers 15 job opportunities in Popești-Leordeni, covering a variety of positions, from Kitchen Team Member and Cashier to management roles such as Restaurant Director and Manager. Full-time restaurant team members (Crew Members) can earn a net monthly income of up to 3,600 lei starting from their third month of employment. This income level is achieved through a combination of base salary, meal vouchers, and performance-based bonuses awarded in accordance with internal criteria. Previous experience is not required; what matters most is a positive attitude, motivation, and a willingness to grow and develop.
