KFC supports children with disabilities, through ASCHFR
We have been a partner of the Association of Support for Physically Disabled Children in Romania (ASCHFR) since 2010. With the help of donations made by our customers in KFC restaurants and through sponsorships, we helped develop programmes for children and youth with physical and/or associated disabilities. We also support their families by offering specialised help with the aim of social inclusion.
The Aurora Day Centre, the Bucharest branch of ASCHFR Romania, benefits from part of these donations, adapting school curricula to the children’s needs. In addition, transportation services, physical therapy, speech therapy and cognitive-sensorial stimulation are provided. The beneficiaries are children between the ages of 5 and 16, with severe neuromotor disabilities, as well as their families.
